Welcome to our SA Business Centre Manager

Hi my name is Sarah and I am the newest member of the AUSTSWIM team, coming on board as the SA Business Centre Manager.

I have been employed in the Sport and Recreation industry for over 15 years, starting my career at the North Adelaide Football Club and then moving to the Australian Sports Commission.  I have spent the last 10 years working for the ASC in a variety of roles but most recently as part of the National Participation Outcomes team.  In the role of Relationship Manager & Project Officer, I was fortunate enough to work with a variety of National Sporting Organisations, assisting them with their participation strategies.  I consider the Sport & Rec industry to be a very important one for the health and wellbeing of all Australians and I am one of the lucky ones being involved in this highly rewarding work for so long.  I look forward to continuing this through my involvement at AUSTSWIM.

Personally, I enjoy spending my free time playing netball, going to the football (AFL – and yes I'm a Crows supporter for anyone asking!) and spending time with my family and my friends exploring all that SA has to offer…beautiful wineries, stunning beaches, zoos and wildlife parks… and all this within a 45 minute drive (do I sound like I work for the SA Tourism board now??!!)

I look forward to getting to know you all and for the chance sink my teeth into the new role!
